Crosslinked Polyethylene Foam
XLPE foam is an aesthetically pleasing material that provides a wide range of performance benchmarks.
XLPE foam has been chemically crosslinked; solidifying in a smooth uniform plank with massive aesthetic appeal and superior physical and chemical characteristics; compared to conventional polyethylene.
It also has many of the same characteristics as conventional polyethylene foam except that crosslinked polyethylene foam has the capacity to protect class “A” surfaces.
Microcell™, Volara™ and Zotefoams™ branded crosslinked polyethylene foam can be laminated, embossed, thermoformed, die-cut, sewn, printed and pressure sensitive adhesive coated.
In addition to fabricating crosslinked polyethylene foam to custom designed specifications, New England Foam stocks crosslinked polyethylene foam in bun, roll forms, in densities ranging from 2 to 6 pounds per cubic foot (PCF) and those colors most requested: black, natural, blue, yellow and red.
Additional densities and custom colors are available upon request, as well as anti-static, conductive and fire retardant (FR) types of crosslinked polyethylene foam. New England Foam can even match your exact color(s) [PMS].
